Elizabeth opened Liquid Creative in 1999 as a branch of a Dallas agency before purchasing the Mississippi branch in 2003. Elizabeth’s marketing and advertising experience includes telecommunications, finance, national exhibitions, land development, law, retail, medical, and non-profits. She directs all aspects of account service, from budget planning through strategic planning and implementation. Elizabeth was recognized by Mississippi Business Journal as one of Mississippi’s 50 Leading Business Women in 2003. She is a graduate of Belhaven University. Elizabeth is an artist, interior decorator, seamstress, and avid collector of glassware, vintage jewelry and purses, furniture, and 60s pop culture items.
Nan worked 27 years for the Mississippi Department of Human Services. She served in various departments within the agency’s Division of Economic Assistance, ultimately becoming director of that division. She retired from state government in 2000 and worked part-time at Trustmark Bank before joining Liquid Creative in 2002 as our in-house accountant. She is responsible for Liquid’s accounts receivables, payables, and payroll, in addition to general office management duties. Nan received a B.B.A. in accounting from Delta State University in 1970.
As Creative Director, Jon oversees all work going through the agency from a graphic and creative standpoint. With over 10 years of experience, he has done design work for hospitals, universities, financial institutions, museums, law offices, retail operations, and much more. Jon is a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi with a B.F.A in Graphic Communication. When not behind the computer at Liquid, he spends most of his free time being “Daddy” to his daughter, Emma, and a wonderful* husband to his wife, Sarah. *This claim has not been verified with wife.
Software Developer / Systems Engineer
As Liquid Creative’s resident web expert, David uses his vast array of skills and experience to lead the Web component of our creative services. The Ole Miss grad has worked in IT for several years. He has been proactive troubleshooting potential Web and technical issues for Liquid. Our “web ninja” is integral to the creative process and ensures that our clients' online brand messages are strong. David’s easy manner and willingness to share his IT knowledge make him a popular guy at Liquid Creative. He is married and has one child.
James’ “can do” attitude is apparent the moment you meet him. Having earned both his Ph.D. and Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi State, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, James knows what hard work means. He is also FE/EIT Certified. His bevy of knowledge and research skills help us better serve our clients. When James sets his mind to a task, he accomplishes it. Whether that challenge is building a website or learning a new skill, James will do it. And he’ll probably do it with a smile.
Social Media/Production Manager
Status Update: Malley Scarbrough is killing it (in a good way) in our Social Media department. She’s on the cutting edge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram (and whatever new media has just come out while you’re reading this). With a combination of writing skills and keen Internet savvy, she keeps our clients in up-to-the-minute contact with their customers. Malley also manages production for projects, as well as events. She has a B.A. in Communication: Public Relations from Mississippi State University, and has worked with the Meridian Main Street Association, as well as Geyer Springs First Baptist Church. When she’s not working, you’ll probably find Malley at a concert, or trying a new restaurant. #music #foodie
As media buyer, James is the go-to man to get our clients’ advertising seen, heard and read by the right audience. But into a nearby phone booth, and he becomes Writer Man– master of prose and effective, entertaining ads that motivate customers. James is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a Communication degree, and spent years in the trenches of broadcasting, both writing and selling. He brings with him considerable ad agency experience as well, in Tupelo and in Jackson. In his spare time, he puts off mowing the yard, and is owned by two cats.
Freakishly versatile yet surprisingly modest, Brock has years of experience in business development and client management. With a master’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Southern Mississippi, Brock put it to good use as the public relations director for sports marketing firm SportsONE; he also worked in business development and as a client manager for Spire Sports and Entertainment. So Brock knows how to work with our clients - and get them results. When he’s not on duty with Liquid Creative, Brock enjoys being outdoors, playing any sport, and enjoying family time with his wife and son.
Mary Grace Pinkard
Projects Manager/Assistant Account Executive
Mary Grace brings to Liquid Creative a wide range of marketing and management experience. After graduating with honors from the University of Georgia, Mary Grace worked in public relations for Dodge Communications in Alpharetta, Georgia. She later served as communications manager for BeneMedical, a provider of digital medical services. At Liquid, she keeps our many projects on-track (not for the faint-hearted), and works with our account services team. Recently married with a husband in medical school, Mary Grace's secret talent is winning stuffed animals from claw vending machines.
When a client needs a unique design solution, Faith gets to work. She comes at each project with her own creative flair, whether it’s a fresh look for logos, display ads, websites, product packaging or web design. A graduate of Mississippi State University, Faith brings media experience plus an impressive toolbox of graphic skills to Liquid Creative. When she’s not designing for clients, you’ll probably find her playing sports, relaxing in the hammock or spending quality time with her dog, Sawyer.
Tom brings our ideas to vibrant life on screen or page. His creative domain includes television commercials, corporate videos, print ad photography, motion graphics and more. With years of experience in video production and editing, he most recently served as head of multimedia production for the national honor society Phi Theta Kappa. When Tom isn't being ingenious at work, he enjoys woodworking, and spending time with his wife and two beautiful girls. A lifelong Chicago Cubs fan, Tom is known for being patient and unrealistically optimistic.
Working with clients is a skill, and Bert has it. As account executive, he listens, strategizes and manages their projects to get results. Coming to us from statewide radio network SuperTalk Mississippi, Bert has a background chock-full of marketing, event planning and client service experience. He’s a social guy and enjoys Ole Miss sports, good food and spending time with his fiancee’. He maintains an uneasy truce with her cat.
